FAA EVALUATIONS

Drs. Guay and Keaveney have almost 20 years of experience working with pilots seeking medical certification to fly from the FAA and are both certified HIMS evaluators. Air traffic control candidates are also evaluated for their fitness to begin training. Referrals typically include ADHD evaluations, SSRI evaluations, substance abuse evaluations, general neuropsychological evaluations, and HIV evaluations.

Pilots undergo an interview and a battery of tests, typically lasting 2 to 5 hours depending on the referral question from the FAA. Records are reviewed and summarized. Reports are sent to the FAA with a statement of determination of aeromedically significant findings.
